The Invisible Ones

The Invisible Ones of Washington, DC is a project designed to call attention to the lives of those unhoused men and women living on the streets of the city.

The number of women, men, and families that are unhoused and living on the streets of Washington, DC is shameful and should be an embarrassment for those city officials responsible for this chronic problem. Sadly, they are not and those living on the streets simply become invisible to most who pass them by. This gallery of photographs represents my attempt to call attention to these people, call them by name and hopefully raise some awareness as to their plight. If you see someone living on the street, just say hello or help them out in some way. It will cost you very little and it will make them feel less invisible. You both will feel better for having done that.
